Naturally Dyed Silks
All of our fabrics are dyed using truly natural ingredients like flowers and plant extracts (even food waste!) using Eco Print/Bundle Dye Techniques for our One of A Kind Patterns and Immersion Dye Techniques for Solid Colors. We ask that you embrace the nature of this process and enjoy your one of a kind piece of art.
Please note that our company is very small batch and intentionally minded. We welcome custom orders on any project big or small.
Please email us: email@example.com with the Subject Line: Custom Order.
Are your items made to order?
All of our silks are made to order, with the exception of some designs being readily available seasonally (please email if you are in a rush). Our Goods are very small batch and we check our inventory weekly, but we do not keep every design on hand as we are a slow fashion company. Thank you for respecting and understanding our company’s ethos.
Designs take 1-2 weeks for production, Kimonos and Robes please allow 4 weeks for production.
How do I care for my silk pieces?
Wash: Gently hand wash with a few drops of PH neutral soap in cool water
Dry: Hang to air dry out of direct sunlight
Ironing: A light ironing will help the silk regain its lustre You may spritz with water or press while slightly damp
Notes: Avoid contact with acidic substances. We ask that you embrace the organic nature and beauty of your silk piece.
What do you dye with?
We dye all of our fabrics using flowers, barks, roots, leaves, plant extracts and even food waste (like avocado skins and pits!)
Our dyes are tested for stability (they can slightly mellow over time) and completely safe for the environment.
